Virus Outbreak Shake Shack

The burger chain Shake Shack says it will return a small-business loan it got to help weather the coronavirus crisis after topping up its funding.

Congress created the Paycheck Protection Program to infuse small businesses, which typically have less access to quick cash and credit, with $349 billion in emergency loans that could help keep workers on the job and bills paid on time.

However, some big corporations obtained loans from the government under the plan, leading business groups to call for changes to the program before Congress provides it with new funding.

Which companies took advantage of this program? How much did each get? Use the search below to find out.
